HIGHWAY CLOSURES AS FLOODING CONTINUES ACROSS VICTORIA

Many major roads across Victoria are closed today as flooding continues following recent torrential rain and thunderstorms.  

The Northern Highway at Wallan is closed between Hume Freeway and Taylors Lane due to flooding. Detours are in place to the Hume Freeway via the Wallan-Whittlesea Road (Watson Street).  

The speed limit on the Northern Highway is reduced to 40km/hr at Heathcote due to dangerous road conditions.
