THIS TRUCK IS A REBADGED INTERNATIONAL PROSTAR WITH THE MAXXFORCE 13 LITRE DUAL SEQUENTIAL TURBO ENGINE IN IT WHICH IS REBADGED AS A CATERPILLAR CT 13 ENGINE
DETAILS:
- It has VERY LOW KMS & HRS as it was originally a mine truck in the NT
- It has an Eaton 18 spd Utlrashift Plus transmission or AMT (Automatic Manual Transmission)
- The truck has many extras such as eight (8) IR (Infra Red) security cameras
- These cameras are in constant loop recording or CCD recording (with a second remote controlled monitor on passenger side)
- It has a Uniden 5 watt 80 Ch UHF radio with all controls on microphone with external speaker above right ear and a 2 watt hand held for when out of the truck
- A fixed oscillating fan when stationary on constant power when ignition is off, new DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) radio with 2 extra speakers installed in the doors, 9 Narva rocker switches installed & connected to different devices
- 4 USB power sockets & 2 cigarette lighter power sockets installed, Navistar ammeter, auto-greaser (disconnected), trench shovel & scraper for bin, battery, starter & engine isolator, 2 reversing LED spot lights, LED adjustable worklights with On/Off switch & a 24″ light bar all at back of cab
- It has a 42″ LED light bar with DRLs in it which is at top of the grill and connected to the headlight circuit with a 16″ light bar below in the bumper bar and behind grill there is two 26″ LED lightbars all connected to high beam with a seperate switch
- 4 DRLs behind grill on constantly, amber & green sequential flashing lights at rear of truck, amber sequential flashing lights (to be fitted behind grill) and a green flashing sequential lightbar at front of truck in bumper bar, new BISON PVC electric tarp
- New upgraded (larger than standard) Transtecno tarp motor & gearbox, 5050B ringfeeder (new kit installed), alluminium toolbox (to be refitted)
- Engel fridge, Waeco mydrink 12 volt 375 ml can cooler (to be fitted again) second battery box (to be attached for tool box to be inserted into), ISRI 6800 seat, 4 standard electric snail horns, 2 snail Navistar air horns, 1 Hadley air horn (to be fitted on roof)
- LED marker & tail lights all round, new Prostar headlights fitted with DRL’s and with 4 CANBUS modules per electrical circuit in each headlight
- Second hand Whitlock FUPS CAT alluminium bumper bar, new 250 Ltr slimline space saver alluminium hydraulic oil tank fitted behind cab (to be connected to piston PTO) & second hand rotary OMFB PTO to be installed
- Two extra air tanks (to be installed for train horns), all rear end Hendrickson Extreme bushes installed January 2023, CAT mud flaps all round with an extensive number of parts and fluids for servicing to go with it
- I am also yet to replace the EGR aftertreatment air coolers with better ones from the USA
- I have just installed 12v heating elements inside the exhaust pipe behind the cab to artificially heat exhaust gases for passive regeneration whilst doing on-site work because the truck was not designed properly
- I am working on this truck all the time enhancing it and spending money on it to make it easier for me to operate
- This often leads to boredom as it is so easy to operate once you know how it works in all situations
- There are some wiring issues
- This truck is in Canberra parked up now
