You might think that without any powertrain or complex automotive systems to worry about like in a modern car, a caravan would be relatively simple to maintain. While that is often true, a caravan still has much more that can go expensively wrong than you might first think.

There is a variety of systems and parts on your caravan that either need to be serviced according to a regular service schedule or replaced if worn – both to keep it reliable and keep its resale value strong. There are also components that by law need licensed technicians to work on (such as the gas and 240V electrical systems). You risk major damage if a fault or worn component is left ignored.
